Cookie Policy
Last updated: 9th October 2026
What does this Cookie Policy cover?
This Cookie Policy explains how Canopy Labs AI Inc. ("Canopy Labs AI," "we", “us” or "our") uses cookies and other similar technologies on its websites, applications, and any other digital and online properties that link to this Cookie Policy (the “Services”). It also outlines your choices around managing these cookies and similar technologies.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on our privacy practices.
How do you manage your preferences?
You may manage your preferences relating to cookies and similar technologies in the Services (including opting out) at any time through our cookie banner, available here.
If you do not accept certain non-essential cookies or similar technologies, you may experience some inconvenience in using the Services. For example, we may not be able to recognize your device and you may need to log in every time you visit the Services.
What types of tracking technologies does Canopy Labs AI use?
We may use any or all of the following tracking technologies in the Services:
Cookies: A cookie is a very small text file that may be placed on your browser or in the storage on your device. There are two types: session cookies and persistent cookies.
- Session cookies are cookies that disappear from your device or browser when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies stay on your device even after you close your browser.
Please note that both Canopy Labs AI and third-party service providers may set cookies via the Service. Third-party cookies are set by domains other than those we control and may recognize your device across different websites.
Other similar technologies: We also may use other tracking technologies for similar purposes as described in this Cookie Policy. Such technologies include:
- Local storage technologies, like HTML5 and IndexedDB, that provide cookie-equivalent functionality but can store larger amounts of data on your device outside of your browser in connection with specific applications. For example, we use Firebase Authentication browser storage to maintain login sessions and Firestore IndexedDB to cache application data.
- Session-replay technologies, such as those provided by third parties that employ software code to record users’ interactions with the Services in a manner that allows us to watch video replays of those user sessions. The replays include users’ clicks, mobile app touches, mouse movements and scrolls during those sessions. These replays help us diagnose usability problems and identify areas for improvement.
When we refer to cookies and “similar technologies” in this Cookie Policy, such reference includes reference to HTML5 local storage, IndexedDB and other equivalent tracking technologies.
Why does Canopy Labs AI use cookies and similar technologies?
The purposes for which we use the above types of technologies may fall into one of the following categories:
- Strictly necessary: These technologies are essential to enable the Services and the functions you have requested within the Services, such as by helping to ensure that the content of a page loads quickly and effectively.
- Functionality: These technologies allow us to provide enhanced personalization and functionality, such as tailoring content to you, remembering your choices and preferences in the Services (e.g., language, text size, etc.), or remembering search parameters.
- Analytics: These technologies collect information about how users interact with the Services and enable us to improve the Services and our broader business. In particular, for more details about how Google uses data in the context of Google Analytics, please see: www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/
- Advertising: These technologies are deployed in the Services and collect information about your browsing habits in order to provide more relevant advertising – for example, these technologies remember the websites you have visited and share that information with other parties, such as advertising technology service providers.
A full list of the tracking technologies we use can be found in the section titled: What types of tracking technologies does Canopy Labs AI use?
